- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon strips for 3-4 minutes until slightly cooked, then remove and reserve drippings.
- Blanch the green beans in boiling water with baking soda for 3 minutes, then transfer to ice water to cool.
- Drain the green beans, pat dry, and mix with reserved bacon drippings, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Cut each bacon slice in half and wrap around 6-8 green beans, securing with a toothpick on the baking pan.
- Mix brown sugar with a tablespoon of water and brush the glaze on each bundle.
- Roast the bundles in the oven for 20-22 minutes until crispy and golden brown.
