Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon strips for 3-4 minutes until slightly cooked, then remove and reserve drippings.
  3. Blanch the green beans in boiling water with baking soda for 3 minutes, then transfer to ice water to cool.
  4. Drain the green beans, pat dry, and mix with reserved bacon drippings, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Cut each bacon slice in half and wrap around 6-8 green beans, securing with a toothpick on the baking pan.
  6. Mix brown sugar with a tablespoon of water and brush the glaze on each bundle.
  7. Roast the bundles in the oven for 20-22 minutes until crispy and golden brown.
