Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Start by bringing a pot of water to a rolling boil. Gently add the hard-boiled eggs and cook for 10-12 minutes. Remove and plunge into an ice bath for 5 minutes.
  2. Melt 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter over medium heat until bubbling. Add sliced onions and sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent.
  3. Stir in minced garlic and garlic paste, cook for 1-2 minutes. Add Cajun seasoning, cayenne pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  4. Pour in vegetable broth and bring to a simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Place peeled hard-boiled eggs in a bowl and pour the sauce over them, coating well. Add red pepper flakes if desired.
