Preparation Steps

  3. In another skillet, heat the remaining olive oil over medium heat. Add the cubed butternut squash and sauté for 10-15 minutes until tender.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the caramelized onions, cooked butternut squash, fresh thyme, salt, and pepper.
  5. Roll out the thawed puff pastry on the prepared baking sheet, leaving a 1-inch border. Spread the filling mixture evenly and sprinkle the goat cheese on top.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the pastry is golden brown and the filling is set.
