- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cut the refrigerated pizza dough into 30 even squares, approximately 2x2 inches.
- Slice the mozzarella sticks into 30 pieces, about 1 inch long.
- Wrap each square of pizza dough around a piece of mozzarella, sealing the edges tightly.
- Arrange the dough balls on the baking sheet in the shape of a Christmas tree.
- Whisk together one egg with a tablespoon of water to create an egg wash.
- Gently coat the tops of the dough balls with the egg wash using a pastry brush.
- Bake for 16-18 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.
- Melt butter in a saucepan, stir in minced garlic and fresh herbs.
- Brush the baked bread with the herb butter and sprinkle remaining parmesan cheese on top.
