Filling
  • 8 oz Mozzarella String Cheese cut into 1-inch pieces
Egg Wash
  • 1 tablespoon Milk or egg
Garlic Butter
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter melted and slightly cooled
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced or crushed
  • 2 tablespoons Parsley fresh
  • 2 tablespoons Basil fresh
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan Cheese grated
Garnish
  • 1 teaspoon Flaky Sea Salt optional
  • 4 slices Cheese Slice thinly sliced, options like mozzarella, provolone, or cheddar
Dipping
  • 1 cup Marinara Sauce for dipping

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Cut mozzarella string cheese into 1-inch pieces. Set aside for filling.
  3. Divide pizza dough into 32 equal pieces to ensure even cooking.
  4. Flatten each piece of dough, add cheese in the center, seal and roll into a ball.
  5. Arrange dough balls on the baking sheet in a football shape.
  6. Brush tops of rolls with milk or egg wash and sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
  7. Bake for 18 minutes, until golden brown. Broil for an additional 2-3 minutes if desired.
  8. Melt butter and mix with Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, and herbs to create garlic butter.
  9. Brush garlic butter over warm rolls and decorate with thin cheese strips.
  10. Serve immediately with marinara sauce for dipping.
