  • 1/2 cup Pizza Sauce Can substitute with marinara
For the Filling
  • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese Shredded
  • 6 slices Pepperoni Can substitute with deli meat or omit for vegetarian
For Assembly
  • 1 large Egg For egg wash
  • 1 tbsp Water To mix with egg for wash

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line baking trays with parchment paper.
  2. Separate crescent rolls into rectangles and flatten them on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Spread 1-2 tablespoons of pizza sauce on each rectangle, and top with mozzarella and pepperoni.
  4. Fold corners over the filling and shape them into hats, tucking in a piece of pepperoni on top.
  5. Mix egg with water and brush over each roll to seal and give a glossy finish.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes until golden brown and puffed up.
  7. Cool slightly before serving with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
