Step-by-Step Instructions

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine chicken, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, dried parsley, salt, black pepper, and melted butter. Mix until smooth.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough, flatten each triangle to create a larger surface area.
  4. Spoon the chicken filling onto the center of each triangle, fold over the edges, and pinch to seal.
  5. Beat the egg and brush it over the tops of the filled pillows. Sprinkle panko breadcrumbs if using.
  6. Bake the pillows for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  7. While baking, melt butter in a saucepan, whisk in flour, gradually add milk and cream, stirring constantly. Stir in Parmesan, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
