Ingredients

For the Mashed Potatoes
  • 4 cups Mashed Potatoes Homemade or store-bought.
  • 1 cup Corn Kernels Fresh, canned, or frozen.
For the Toppings
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese Pepper jack can be used for extra spice.
  • 2 cups Gravy Pre-made or homemade.
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley Optional garnish.

Method
 

Prepare the Chicken
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine bite-sized pieces of chicken breast with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
Cook the Chicken
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add seasoned chicken and cook for 7–9 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked.
Warm the Gravy
  1. In a saucepan, heat gravy over medium heat for about 5 minutes until hot and bubbly.
Prepare the Corn
  1. Cook frozen corn according to package instructions (about 3-5 minutes) or heat canned corn in a small pot for 2-3 minutes.
Reheat the Mashed Potatoes
  1. If using store-bought mashed potatoes, follow heating instructions. If homemade, prepare until creamy and hot, seasoning with butter, salt, and pepper.
Assemble the Bowls
  1. Layer the bowls starting with mashed potatoes, then add sweet corn, followed by chicken.
Top with Gravy and Cheese
  1. Drizzle hot gravy over the assembly and sprinkle cheddar cheese on top.
Garnish and Serve
  1. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve immediately.
