Preparation Steps

  2. Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for about 7 to 9 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden brown and fully cooked.
  3. Warm the Gravy: In a saucepan, gently warm the gravy over low heat, stirring occasionally to keep it smooth.
  4. Prepare the Corn: Cook frozen corn according to package instructions or heat canned corn in a small pot.
  5. Reheat the Mashed Potatoes: Warm mashed potatoes in a pot over low heat until smooth and hot.
  6. Assemble the Bowls: Start with mashed potatoes, layer sweet corn, followed by cooked chicken.
  7. Add Gravy and Cheese: Drizzle warm gravy over the dish and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  8. Garnish and Serve: Optionally finish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
