Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Soak fresh breadcrumbs in milk for about 5 minutes. Combine with ground turkey, minced onion, garlic, sage, Italian seasoning, eggs, and Parmesan cheese. Mix gently.
  2. Shape mixture into 1 to 1.5 inch meatballs. Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook meatballs for 6-7 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Remove cooked meatballs and sauté onion and garlic in the skillet for 3-4 minutes. Stir in pumpkin puree and cream, heating through.
  4. Nestle the meatballs back into the sauce and simmer for 5-7 minutes on low heat.
  5. Serve meatballs on plates, garnished with fresh sage or grated Parmesan.
