Step-by-Step Instructions for Cozy Pumpkin Sage Meatballs
- Preheat a large skillet over medium heat for about 5 minutes.

- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey with the soaked breadcrumbs, finely minced onion, garlic, fresh sage, Italian seasoning, egg, and Parmesan cheese. Mix gently.
- Shape the mixture into 12 to 16 uniform meatballs, each about 1.5 inches in diameter.
- Place meatballs in the preheated skillet. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes, turning occasionally until golden brown.
- Remove the meatballs from the skillet. Add canned pumpkin puree, heavy cream, and extra sage to the skillet. Stir over medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes.
- Return meatballs to the skillet with the pumpkin sage sauce and let simmer for 3 to 4 minutes.

Notes
Store leftover meatballs in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat gently adding a splash of cream to revive the sauce's texture.
