- In a large bowl, combine the cooked white rice, shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, and French onion soup. Stir in the sour cream, shredded cheese, and 1 cup of fried onions, along with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until creamy and well-combined.
- Lightly grease the 9x13-inch baking dish. Spread the creamy mixture evenly into the prepared dish, smoothing the top.
- Bake uncovered for about 30 minutes until edges bubble and top sets.
- Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of fried onions evenly over the top and bake for an additional 5 minutes until onions are golden brown.
- Let the dish cool slightly for 5-10 minutes and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
