  • 1 teaspoon Sage (dried) or fresh sage
  • 1 teaspoon Thyme (dried) or fresh thyme
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon Pepper to taste
  • 2 large Eggs or flax eggs for vegan option
  • 0.5 cup Chicken Broth or vegetable broth for vegetarian
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil for greasing
For Serving
  • 1 cup Gravy or Cranberry Sauce for dipping

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking sheet with olive oil or non-stick spray.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine breadcrumbs, fresh cranberries, onion, celery, garlic, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add ground turkey to the bowl and mix thoroughly. If dry, drizzle in chicken broth until the mixture is moist.
  4. Scoop out about 1 to 1½ inches of the mixture and roll into balls. Place them on the greased baking sheet about an inch apart.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. They should be firm on the outside and tender inside.
  6. Let the balls cool for a few minutes before serving, alongside gravy or cranberry sauce.
