- In a small mixing bowl, combine ½ cup of mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice, 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard, ½ teaspoon of paprika, and a pinch of kosher salt and black pepper. Whisk until smooth and creamy.
- In a large mixing bowl, add 1 cup of crab meat, ½ cup of finely chopped celery, and ¼ cup of diced shallot. Gently stir the ingredients together.
- Pour the creamy lemon dressing over the crab mixture. Gently fold the dressing into the crab salad until everything is evenly coated.
- Sprinkle chopped fresh herbs over the top of your crab salad. Give it a light stir or leave them on top for presentation.
