Ingredients
  

Dressing
  • ½ cup Mayonnaise Can substitute with Greek yogurt or dairy-free mayonnaise for lighter option.

  • ½ teaspoon Paprika Smoked paprika can add a different flavor.

Salad
  • 1 cup Crab Meat (or Imitation Crab Meat) If using imitation crab, ensure it's gluten-free.
  • ½ cup Celery Finely chopped; can substitute with diced cucumber.
  • ¼ cup Shallot (or Red Onion) Red onion can be used for stronger flavor.
  • to taste Fresh Herbs (Parsley, Chives, or Dill) Choose your preference or mix.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a small mixing bowl, combine ½ cup of mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice, 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard, ½ teaspoon of paprika, and a pinch of kosher salt and black pepper. Whisk until smooth and creamy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, add 1 cup of crab meat, ½ cup of finely chopped celery, and ¼ cup of diced shallot. Gently stir the ingredients together.
  3. Pour the creamy lemon dressing over the crab mixture. Gently fold the dressing into the crab salad until everything is evenly coated.
  4. Sprinkle chopped fresh herbs over the top of your crab salad. Give it a light stir or leave them on top for presentation.
