  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour spooned and leveled
  • 1 cup Rainbow Sprinkles non-bleeding
For the Frosting
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter softened
  • 2 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Cake Batter Extract or vanilla/almond extract
  • 2 tbsp Heavy Cream adjust for texture

Method
 

Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream softened unsalted butter with granulated and light brown sugars for 2-3 minutes until fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then blend in cake batter extract.
  4. Whisk together baking powder, salt, and flour in a separate bowl, then gradually add to the wet mixture.
  5. Fold in rainbow sprinkles carefully to avoid breaking them.
  6. Scoop 2-3 tablespoons of dough onto baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 13-16 minutes until golden at the edges and soft in the middle.
  8. Cool on baking sheets for about 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  9. Beat softened butter until creamy, then gradually add powdered sugar and other frosting ingredients.
  10. Once cookies are cool, frost generously and add more sprinkles on top for decoration.
