Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a 10x15-inch baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
  2. Arrange about 40 saltine crackers in a single layer across the bottom of your prepared baking sheet.
  3. In a medium saucepan, add 1 cup of unsalted butter and 1 cup of light brown sugar. Heat over medium while stirring constantly until boiling, then cook for 3 minutes until smooth.
  4. Pour the hot toffee over the crackers, spreading it evenly. Bake for about 5 minutes until bubbly.
