Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
  2. Cube the bread into 1-inch pieces and spread evenly in the baking dish.
  3. Layer ham and turkey over the bread, then top with Swiss cheese.
  4. Add another layer of cubed bread on top, pressing down gently.
  5. Whisk together eggs, milk, maple syrup, salt, and pepper in a bowl, then pour over the bread layers.
  6. Drizzle melted butter over the top of the casserole.
  7. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Allow to rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving warm.
