Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the Dough: Roll out the prepared pizza dough on a floured surface until ¼ inch thick. Cut into 8 squares.
  2. Add the Filling: Place 1 teaspoon of pizza sauce in the center of each square, layer with pepperoni and mozzarella.
  3. Shape the Pumpkins: Fold edges of the dough over the filling, pinching seams to seal tightly.
  4. Create Pumpkin Sections: Wrap kitchen twine around each ball several times to form pumpkin sections.
  5. Brush with Egg Wash: Beat egg with paprika and turmeric, coat each pumpkin with the mixture.
  6. Air Fry the Pumpkins: Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and cook the pumpkins for 5 minutes.
  7. Flip and Cook Until Golden: Flip pumpkins and cook for another 5 to 10 minutes until golden.
  8. Finish and Serve: Remove from air fryer, cool slightly, cut twine, garnish, and serve with extra pizza sauce.
