Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the rose falooda mix according to package instructions, combining it with warm milk (not boiling) for a smooth consistency. Stir for about 5 minutes until thickened. Let it cool for about 10 minutes.
  2. Soak basil seeds in water for about 30 minutes until they swell. Fill large bowls with ice water and syruped rasgullas to keep them moist.
  3. In a serving bowl, layer syrup-soaked rasgullas, falooda mix, jelly, and cocktail fruits. Repeat the layers until nearly full.
  4. Top with fresh fruits and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Allow the ice cream to melt slightly into the layers.
  5. Sprinkle almonds and pistachios on top, add soaked basil seeds, drizzle with rose syrup, and chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  6. Serve your Festive Rose Rasmalai Falooda, garnished with edible gold foil if desired.

Allowing the dessert to chill enhances flavor melding and presentation. Use warm milk to prevent lumps in the falooda mix.
