Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter and granulated sugar until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, blending thoroughly, then mix in vanilla extract and buttermilk.
  4. Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined. Some lumps are fine; do not overmix.
  5. Gently fold in red and green sprinkles into the batter without overmixing.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Optionally sprinkle coarse sugar on top.
  7. Bake for 45-55 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Remove from oven and cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
