- Wash and slice 2 cups of fresh strawberries, then blend with 1/4 cup of sugar until smooth.
- Set aside 1/2 cup of the strawberry puree in a small bowl for later use.
- Whip 1 cup of heavy cream in a chilled mixing bowl until stiff peaks form, about 3–5 minutes.
- Gently fold the remaining strawberry puree into the whipped cream using a spatula.
- Layer the reserved strawberry puree and mousse in serving glasses.
- Chill the glasses in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour or overnight.
- Garnish with fresh strawberries before serving.
