Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9x13 inch baking dish by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed ripe bananas, granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract and whisk until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon.
  4. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Lightly flour your work surface and turn the dough out onto it, pressing it into a rectangle about 1/2 inch thick.
  6. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over the rolled-out dough, then roll tightly to create a log shape and cut into 1-inch thick rolls.
  7. Place the cinnamon rolls in the prepared baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  8. While baking, prepare the cream cheese glaze by beating together softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and a splash of milk until smooth.
  9. Drizzle the glaze over the warm rolls once they are out of the oven.
