- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add shredded cooked chicken, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 5 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked pasta with marinara sauce, half of the grated Parmesan cheese, and half of the shredded mozzarella. Stir until well incorporated.
- Add the sautéed chicken mixture to the pasta and sauce blend. Fold gently until evenly distributed.
- Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish. Pour the chicken and pasta mixture into the dish, spreading it evenly.
- Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the top of the casserole.
- Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
- Let the casserole cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley before serving.
