Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add shredded cooked chicken, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 5 minutes.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked pasta with marinara sauce, half of the grated Parmesan cheese, and half of the shredded mozzarella. Stir until well incorporated.
  4. Add the sautéed chicken mixture to the pasta and sauce blend. Fold gently until evenly distributed.
  5. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish. Pour the chicken and pasta mixture into the dish, spreading it evenly.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the top of the casserole.
  7. Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  8. Let the casserole cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley before serving.
