Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Unroll the crescent rolls and lay them evenly on a non-stick baking sheet, sealing any seams.
- Bake for approximately 10–12 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and flaky. Once done, remove from oven and let cool completely.
- Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned, draining excess fat. Add the taco seasoning and water, simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese and sour cream until smooth. Set aside.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture on the cooled crescent roll crust, layer seasoned ground beef, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheese. Add lettuce if serving immediately.
- Cut into squares and serve warm with additional toppings.
