  • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese shredded; cheddar can be used

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Gather your ingredients.
  2. In a large skillet, add the ground beef. Cook for about 5–7 minutes until browned. Drain excess grease.
  3. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in the same skillet. Add diced onions and sauté for 3–4 minutes until translucent.
  4. Add minced garlic and sliced mushrooms, cooking for another 5 minutes until soft.
  5. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add egg noodles and cook for 5–7 minutes until al dente; drain.
  6. Stir in flour to the onion and mushroom mixture, then gradually add beef broth while stirring continuously. Mix in sour cream and let bubble for 3 minutes.
  7. Fold in cooked egg noodles and browned ground beef into the creamy sauce.
  8. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese. Bake for 20–25 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Allow the casserole to cool for about 5 minutes before serving.
