Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of water with 1 cup of granulated sugar over medium heat. Stir until sugar dissolves, around 2-3 minutes. Add mint leaves and let it simmer for 2 minutes, then remove from heat and cool.
  2. In a large pitcher, add fresh blackberries and granulated sugar. Muddle gently for about 30 seconds to release juices.
  3. Pour the cooled mint simple syrup into the pitcher. Squeeze in the juice of 1 to 2 limes and stir for about 30 seconds to combine flavors.
  4. Fill glasses with ice cubes. Pour the blackberry-mint mixture over the ice and top with seltzer. Garnish with fresh mint leaves.
