Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare Strawberry Syrup: Wash and hull 1 cup of fresh strawberries, chop them, combine with ½ cup water and ½ cup sugar in a saucepan over medium heat, bring to a boil, then simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Cool and Strain Syrup: Remove from heat after thickening, let cool for 10 minutes, then strain through a fine sieve into a clean jar or bowl, pressing to extract maximum liquid.
  3. Mix Mimosa: In a tall wine glass, add 2 ounces of chilled Natalie’s orange juice, then pour in 3 ounces of chilled Prosecco and drizzle in ¾ ounce of strawberry syrup.
  4. Garnish and Serve: Slice a fresh strawberry partially and place it on the rim of the glass. Serve immediately for best flavor and effervescence.
