- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add fresh green beans and cook for about 5 minutes until crisp-tender. Drain and set aside.
- In a medium skillet, melt butter or heat oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in your creamy sauce ingredients into the skillet with the sautéed garlic. Stir gently and heat through for about 3-5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and fold in freshly grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season to taste.
- Combine the green beans with the creamy cheese sauce in a large mixing bowl. Transfer to a greased baking dish.
- Sprinkle panko bread crumbs and extra Parmesan cheese on top.
- Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
