For the Chicken
  • 1 pound Chicken Tenders or any boneless chicken pieces
  • 2 tablespoons Avocado Oil or olive oil/canola oil
  • 2 tablespoons Blackened Seasoning Mix Cajun seasoning works as an alternative
For the Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise or Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon Brown Sugar or honey
  • 1 tablespoon Hot Sauce adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard or yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce or soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice or lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder or fresh minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon Onion Powder or fresh onions
For the Sliders
  • 2 tablespoons Melted Butter or ghee/margarine
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley minced; or dried parsley
  • 4 slices Cheese cheddar or pepper jack
  • 1 cup Lettuce shredded; or spinach/arugula
  • 1/2 cup Red Onion sliced; or white/yellow onions
  • 1/2 cup Dill Pickle Slices or relish

Method
 

Steps to Prepare
  1. Marinate the Chicken: Place chicken tenders in a bowl or resealable bag. Pour avocado oil and sprinkle blackened seasoning mix over chicken. Mix well and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Prepare the Spicy Sauce: Combine mayonnaise, brown sugar, hot sauce, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, garlic powder, and onion powder in a bowl. Mix until smooth.
  3. Make the Butter Mixture: Whisk melted butter, minced garlic, and parsley together in a bowl.
  4. Cook the Chicken: Heat skillet over medium-high heat. Cook marinated chicken tenders for 3-4 minutes on each side until charred and cooked through. Let rest.
  5. Toast the Buns: Preheat oven broiler. Spread the butter mixture on the insides of buns and broil for about 2 minutes until golden.
  6. Assemble the Sliders: Layer blackened chicken, cheese, lettuce, red onion, and dill pickles on the buns. Drizzle spicy sauce over and top with the other half of the buns.
