Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare a loaf pan or line a baking sheet with foil.
- In a skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy, about 6-8 minutes. Set aside, leaving some fat in the skillet, and add chopped mushrooms to sauté for about 5 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, eggs, breadcrumbs, diced onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
- Shape the meat mixture into a loaf and mix half of the Swiss cheese in. Place the remaining cheese on top along with the bacon and sautéed mushrooms.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-55 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm, optionally garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes
Avoid overmixing the meat mixture for a tender texture. Consider adding more cheese during the last minutes of baking for extra flavor.
