Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (fan) and line two baking trays with greaseproof paper.
  2. Unroll the puff pastry onto the lined trays, flatten slightly with a rolling pin.
  3. Cut out larger heart shapes and create an indentation in the center of each heart.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the dairy-free cream cheese, gluten-free flour, and caster sugar until thick and creamy.
  5. Transfer the cream filling into a piping bag and fill the center of each pastry heart.
  6. Brush the edges of each Danish with dairy-free milk and sprinkle with caster sugar.
  7. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes until golden brown and puffed up.
  8. Allow to cool on a wire rack, optionally dust with icing sugar before serving.
